Invariants of Lattice Polytopes and Matroids

Abstract:

We will discuss invariants of lattice polytopes and their subdivisions arising from Ehrhart and Hodge theory and introduce their matroid theoretic analogues which are enriched versions of the characteristic and Tutte polynomials.
