The ACO Seminar (2016–2017)

Let X₁,..., X_n-1 be independent vectors in Rⁿ, and X be a unit vector orthogonal to these vectors. It is clear that if the entries of X_i are iid standard Gaussian then X is uniformly distributed on the unit sphere. In this talk we show that this property remains asymptotically true for X even when the entries of X_i have Bernoulli distributions. (partly joint with V. Vu)
